Very nice food. Extremely pleasant experience. Gr8 staff

Great food and service staff are friendly and good with the little one and he loves the food been back a few times now and service keeps getting better

It was my first time here after a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed, the food was very good and the service was friendly and polite. I will definitely be coming back.

Everything is just delicious. From the Cumbrian classic dish with a twist to the Asian remake, everything was perfect. The service is perfect and friendly. I rarely take pictures of my food but it was too cute and even more delicious. And for the Americans who are looking for a brownie, they know how to make a good and tasty one.

Came here for Valentine's Day and wasn't disappointed. Very welcoming staff who were also efficient and friendly. While you don't come here expecting cheap food and drink, I felt the prices for quality were very reasonable. The hotel itself is very lovely and far enough away from the main road for traffic to not be a distraction. The Cocktails were perfect as was all the food. The portions were just on the right side of being haute cuisine (which isn't filling!) and so, after three courses, we were nicely full - just! Price for two, with lots of drinks and three courses (starter and pudding shared) came to £94.
